About this building

Opened in 1965 and consecrated on 9 January 1966, it is one of the very first churches designed according to the new orientations of the Second Vatican Council. Bright, broad rather than long, without columns, endowed with remarkable enamels (baptismal font, tabernacle, Way of the Cross). More than 550 seats are arranged in “pie slices” facing the choir, whose very wide podium favours a creative and participatory liturgy.

The Church of the Holy Family celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2016.
