About this building

The three-naved Church of Saint Peter in Chains, on the village square, has been listed since 1938. The Gothic building was constructed in the 15th–16th centuries in brown-red ferruginous sandstone. The west tower, of the 13th century, was badly damaged in 1940 but restored while the war was still on. A Baroque confessional and a painting of the Assumption of Mary are furnishings and heritage of the 17th century.
