The church was built in 1927 according to plans by the architect Joseph Jentgen in Art Deco style, on the site of the old church, which was demolished. It is an atypical, very rare architecture for Luxembourg. The bell tower is octagonal and the church also has two smaller towers on either side of the entrance portal. The floor plan is oval; this shape is reinforced by the structural elements on the ceiling. On the outer wall there is partly visible slate from the Ardennes, the window stones are made of red sandstone, which is untypical for this area.

The parish of Troisvierges-Weiswampach decided some years ago to use this church as a “family and youth church”, changing the traditional seating arrangement in favour of a communal form. The youth choir has its seat here.
