Five years ago, when the church was being renovated, we allowed ourselves to dream, to think about our new prayer space. The guided tour will show you how the church, with its simplicity and silence, is fundamentally the first place of welcome in the monastery.

Notre-Dame d'Hurtebise
Nestled in the forest of Saint-Hubert, the Notre-Dame d'Hurtebise monastery is home to a community of Benedictine nuns. It welcomes guests, pilgrims, seekers of God, seekers of meaning...
The nuns arrived in 1938, and first of all they had to fit out their church in the old barn of a farm. In order to respond to its vocation as a place of prayer and welcome, this church has not ceased to adapt itself for almost 80 years. You will be able to discover this evolution thanks to an exhibition, visit the church and its surroundings, enjoy musical or theatrical moments, and discover the place, also proposed to children.
Groups (catechism...) who wish to participate are invited to contact us.
