The walking loop
Curious people, hikers, history buffs or simple onlookers will be happy to discover the church of Sainte-Aldegonde, a small church in the village of Baisieux and its rural surroundings. A 5 km walking loop will link the Saint-Martin church, the Notre-Dame du Bon Remède chapel and the Sainte-Aldegonde church.

Saint-Martin
Consisting of the former Romanesque castral chapel, the choir of the church, stiffened by buttresses with pinnacles, was built in limestone around 1500 in a Hennuyer Gothic style. The main nave and the two side naves with separate roofs were built in brick on a sandstone base, probably in the 16th century, and reworked at the end of the 17th century. The off-centre tower, in Renaissance style, was built according to the plans of Louis de Longpont in 1680. It houses 2 bells. At the top stands a heavy cross which reaches 60.30m.
