Bach flowers
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) - Therapeutic music, an elixir of sweet notes and smooth harmonies: a remedy that conquers fear, warding off nightmares and allowing dreams to take hold... Let yourself be carried away by these musical flowers. Mr. Jonathan Bridoux, titular organist and Mr. Hans Claeys, recorder.
Event Host Building
Saint-Martin
Consisting of the former Romanesque castral chapel, the choir of the church, stiffened by buttresses with pinnacles, was built in limestone around 1500 in a Hennuyer Gothic style. The main nave and the two side naves with separate roofs were built in brick on a sandstone base, probably in the 16th century, and reworked at the end of the 17th century. The off-centre tower, in Renaissance style, was built according to the plans of Louis de Longpont in 1680. It houses 2 bells. At the top stands a heavy cross which reaches 60.30m.
