Gold and silver - silverware and liturgy
How to identify liturgical objects? Are all gold objects made of silver or gold? This exhibition organised by CIPAR highlights the specificities of these objects by placing them in an evolving historical and liturgical framework.

Saint-Martin
Consisting of the former Romanesque castral chapel, the choir of the church, stiffened by buttresses with pinnacles, was built in limestone around 1500 in a Hennuyer Gothic style. The main nave and the two side naves with separate roofs were built in brick on a sandstone base, probably in the 16th century, and reworked at the end of the 17th century. The off-centre tower, in Renaissance style, was built according to the plans of Louis de Longpont in 1680. It houses 2 bells. At the top stands a heavy cross which reaches 60.30m.
