Sint-Andreas

St Andrew's Church is a neo-Gothic church built in 1897-1898 according to plans by Jules Goethals. From the 12th century, the patronage of the parish came into the hands of Mont-Saint-Martin Abbey (until the French era in Belgium).

In the 12th century, St Andrew's Church was the main church on which the parishes of Zottegem and Erwetegem depended. Of that previous church, only the 15th-century Gothic northern transept arm remains. The interior includes a 17th-century marble baptismal font, an 18th-century rococo pulpit and the monumental painting 'The Circumcision of Christ' by Nicolas De Liemaeckere.

Since 1979, the church has been protected as a monument.
