Saint-Augustin

Completed in 1935 to plans by Léon Guiannotte and André Watteyne, the church of Saint-Augustin is one of the most remarkable examples of the spread of Art Deco in Brussels. It is located in Forest, Place de l'Altitude Cent, the highest point in Brussels, in the heart of a district where there is no shortage of art deco works. Classified as a historical monument in 1988, it was the subject of a vast restoration campaign from 1995 to 1997.
