Today's church and surrounding cemetery are located on a small hill in the centre of the village. There has been a church on this site since the 11th century, as evidenced by the remains of the Romanesque tower.

The 15th century nave is in an elegant, late Gothic style. In the choir there is a sacramental niche with an oculus in excellent condition. The eternal light, which burned in it day and night and symbolised the presence of God, was intended to be visible from the cemetery. In the side chapel there is another niche with three stone sculptures depicting the Virgin Mary and St Catherine and St Barbara.
