History of a small church
- 08-08-1871: A request is signed by 62 inhabitants of Rofessart and sent to the municipal administration of Limelette. The construction of a chapel is requested in Rofessart.
- 19-05-1872: laying of the foundation stone
- A large part of the financing is due to the family of Baron Auguste Lambermont who lived in the castle opposite the church.
- 05-02-1874: the church and its first bell are blessed. Name: St Joseph.
- In 1893, a Way of the Cross is installed. It is a copy of the one in the small beguinage in Bruges. It is painted on red copper.
- In 1895: the stained glass windows are placed
