20.00 Concert de l'ensemble “L'harmonie des voix”, spécialisé dans la musique vocale baroque.
Composé des sopranos Julie Calbete et Hélène Richardeau, du contre ténor Gilles Thomas, du ténor Thierry Lequenne et de la basse Etienne Debaisieux, accompagné de Fabrice Holvoet au luth et Emmanuelle Laine à la viole de gambe, ces artistes exploreront dans leur programme “A la folie”, quelques chefs d’oeuvre des XVI° et XVII° siècles en interprétant des oeuvres de Des Prez, Lassus, Gibbons, Gesualdo ou Monteverdi.
Ce sera une excellente occasion de découvrir les richesses du Madrigal au travers de leur travail.

Saint Martin
Situated in the upper part of the village, where one has a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside from a ridge, the church of Saint Martin, a fine surprise for those who enjoy small rural Romanesque churches, is sober and invites contemplation.
The main part of the building is 12th century Romanesque with the exception of the choir and the side portal, framed by 2 lions of justice. Inside, the golden sandstone and the green red and blue of the stained glass windows in the choir provide a feeling of warmth and intimacy. The ceiling is in oak and there are some interesting interior fittings: the pulpit and on the right an altar piece in white stone from France depicting the legend of Saint Hubert.
Finally, the organs, restored in 1968, are among the best in the region.They give a B flat tone which is much appreciated by organists.The acoustics of the building are exceptional and many concerts are given there.
