The present church was consecrated on 11 July 1865. The square-based bell tower is a fine monument, built in the Gothic style of the 16th century. Each of the four corners is fitted with a buttress. On the façade, above the main entrance, is a pointed-arch window. The tower is built of white stone, the rest of the church of brick. It shows both Romanesque and Gothic features. The bell tower is a listed monument.
