Samedi 29 et dimanche 30 avril 2017
9.30 - 18.00 Chantier de printemps : comme toujours, plusieurs ateliers de restauration, d’ébénisterie, de maçonnerie, d’entretien, de peinture ou de jardinage sont organisés et dirigés, le matériel est fourni et chacun participe selon ses compétences, ses envies, et le temps qu’il peut y consacrer. Chacun est indispensable et plus que le bienvenu pour une journée, ou pour deux ou pour une heure… ou simplement pour encourager les équipes ! Le casse-croûte de midi est assuré mais on peut améliorer l’ordinaire en apportant un gâteau ou des boissons. La très bonne ambiance est garantie, ainsi que la fierté de participer à un merveilleux projet !

A roman gem in a natural green setting...
Built in the Argonne foothills during the 11th and 12th centuries, the Church of Our Lady of Mont-devant-Sassey is one of the most beautiful religious buildings in Lorraine. Despite lengthy periods of construction, wars and plundering, it has maintained its architectural integrity and sober elegance.
It houses treasures of Roman and Gothic architecture and sculpture : the choir and 12th century open crypt are remarkable. The late 12th century nave has been completely restored and the 13th century carved portal is the oldest and best preserved in Lorraine.
