This renaissance Gothic church , consecrated in 1616, built in quarried granite and limestone, is surrounded by a walled graveyard and fine trees of different species. In the heart of the village, it is illuminated in the evenings.
The imposing square tower with its thick walls is topped by a fine 45m spire.
Inside it is elegant and luminous. The large sky blue barrel vault depicts the Virgin, the Holy Spirit and the 4 apostles. The furnishings are interesting, above all the two wooden statues on either side of the altar representing the patron saint of the parish, Sebastien who is also painted above a side altar. There are also large organs, the pulpit (17th century) the confessionals (18th century), and the marble holy water basin.
On the 5th gable on the outside on the side of the main door is an inscription from 1652 “male dicent, bene fiat); This means “they speak badly of things even when they are done well» alluding to certain peevish villagers who complained at the time when land was sold to enlarge and improve the church.
